Jeff, you are so funny. Makes me giggle.
I ran into a friend of mine from college that I haven't seen in 20 years! Kind of lost touch. Well, not really. It was an abrupt disappearance. She was bulimic. I didn't know until after she left school. One day she didn't come back to the dorms. I found out later from her mom the she tried to commit suicide and had gone to the hospital to get her stomach pumped. She never came back. Her mom packed her stuff and I saw her once after that... When she got out of the hospital. I think she wanted to start over. She didn't keep in touch with anybody.
We had some wonderful times together and I hope to be good friends again but I don't know if she wants to stay away from that part of her past. Must be jarring to see someone from that part of your life.
