Well . . . not exactly.
Before I took the vehicle back to the dealer I topped off the tank to verify the gauge shoud read full, when it read 3/4 full I returned the SUV to the dealer to correct the problem. When they got the car it was full.
They must have had to remove some fuel to work on the sender, but from a customer service point of view, the warranty work was not done correctly the first time. Yes I got to keep the gas, but a class act would have been to comp the "fill test."
$40 isn't a lot, and for someone who has bought several cars from this dealer and spent a LOT of time in their service department, this would have been a small gesture on their part.
