Yes it was in neutral. I will use your figure to describe what I did: part #2 was in the groove of the guide fork #6, and the end of #2 was locked in two forks, maybe #12 and #19. Hey, now that I am thinking, should not have #2 been locked into fork #15 also ? that would make sense, since there are two gears per fork, right ? Can anyone confirm to me that the end of part #2 (the dongle ?) has to be locked into the 3 forks...
