Walk or bike in. They are not really year round residential. They are weekend farm plots for city dwellers. You find then all over the place in the EU. City apartment dwellers want a little land so they get them on long term leases and do a little vegetable garden. Usually studio or one bedroom bungalows. Some of them are set up where instead of growing different veggies in your garden you get together with the neighbors and decide who grows what then everyone divides up the harvest.
