No, these are 2012 Birel with 4 stroke Lo 206 Briggs Animal engines. Lots of fun for low $$$. It's much better for Sam's driving skills driving this engine. There is a relatively large group of his age driving the class great sportsmanship among these kids.
The engine is sealed, hard compound tires and the weight set at 280 Lbs making it very competitive.
I drive the same engine in the "old fart" class. our weight is set at 360 Lbs and again, relatively low cost and lots of fun.
