Here is a little fistful of pain (at both ends), my old Charter Arms Bulldog Pug in .44 Special. It's a five shot revolver that barely weighs 20 ounces. Nowhere near the quality of fit and finish of a Colt or S&W, but entirely serviceable and pretty darn accurate. It will easily stay on the bottom of a pop can at 25 yards or so. My standard load for it launches the RCBS .44-250K bullet (cast from wheel weights) at just over 800 fps. Ouch...
