Todd i have the same problem with the signals not being flush
I dicided to cut out the fiberglass and repair it after aligning with some glassmatt and resin.
Mine has the lip to attach the rubber spoiler, very happy with that after seeing some without those because i dident think of it when i bought them.
Like yours mine will need lots of work to get them nice. Take the time getting them to fit nice it will show in the end. I fitted the rear bumper and had to take some fiber away to make it fit nice took me about 2 hours and they look good now i think. Good luck on the project.
