Just use IE. You'll find everything works, instead of "most" everything. And if you're running a Linux desktop....well....for the love of god WHY?
Standard Disclaimer: I'm a longtime Linux user and Unix fan (currently an HP-UX web admin). But I'm also a fan of the Windows desktop and I think it blows any other UI out of the water (including that silly OS X - Sorry Jack!).
