Garage
I did this list for another car forum and it reminded me that I have been very irresponsible at times with my cars and finances BUT I have had fun. I believe that the total was in the 60-70 range; however that included cars that I have rebuilt from salvage, purchased as a base for a race car or as a parts car(including the miatas I bought so I could resale the hardtop to Spec Miata types and then sell the rest of the car for profit), or just bought for the purpose of flipping. My parents put me to work in a body shop in my teens to reinforce the concept that I needed to stay in school and away from my car habit and it worked to a degree in that I am a licensed and practicing attorney but still have the garage and dirty fingernails. But ahh, the memories.
There are several I wish that I had kept, particularly the '71 Nova SS and '72 Buick Skylark GS convertible, for the american muscle fans but I also owned multiple unique japanese cars ie MR2 SC, RX-7 GTU-s, RX-3 XP etc. Probably the most unique was '84 RX-7 GSL-SE with a built 4 port 13B, holley carb, RB header and suspension. I found it on a "buy here; pay here" lot and because the intake had a crack in it, it wouldnt start or idle. I hate to admit how little I paid for that car and how much fun it was to drive.
Again I have a serious car habit and it is one reason I really tried to fight the porsche disease for years. I lost and am now on my third 911 during that time period.
