Different pressings of the same album can be worth more than others. Something to keep in mind especially on the higher end stuff. Where one version could be worth $500 and the other is for the dollar bin.

Yup. The plates used to make a record only last so long. Different sets of plates can have a different sound depending on the skill of the guy making them. Marks on the inner ring indicate the pressing and who made the plates.
