Hi,

I have an '83 911 with everything 930... engine, transmission, brakes etc...
Also, the car is a slantnose, waletail, widebody, cabriolet car.

I sent off for a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and Porsche returned the
Certificate stating it was an '83 911sc cabriolet and stating they had no records of the production Date of the car, nor records of special wishes options for 1983.

Therefore they had no records of the car being a special wishes car or not, nor reference to it being a 930 or not just 911sc cabriolet.

I thought the car was a 1983 911 (930) 3.3L turbo cabriolet.

Anyone know what the deal is... Does the lack of records for the 1983 cause the Certificate to default to the car being a 911sc?

What am I missing here.
