No - I owned a 1972 ZR1 - War Bonnet Yellow with **** Brown Vinyl interior - a hideous car. I had sold a '74 2002 tii to get the car, but, when I sold the 'vette I bought my first 914 2.0. The 'vette was terribly underpowered (and that was with an LT1 engine), and the handling was a joke. It rattled, your lower back ached after about 30 minutes sitting in the car, the clutch needed an 800 lb gorilla to engage. The things one did for boyfriends - whew. Luckily the Corvette and the guy were in my life for less than a year.
