Got one of the largest Rover salvage yards here in downtown OKC. Order parts from them and they never show up. At least the never charge my card either.
Order parts from some random googled up salvage yard in England and the parts show up in 3 days.
Found I have to actually go to the local yard and schedule at least a couple of hours. Takes that long even when they provide a guide to help find the parts. The upside is when in person I get the pick of the parts. In person the prices are off the cuff and get cheaper the more stuff I buy.
If the heat and air worked worth a darn and the driver's seat didn't start making my butt hurt on drives longer than 30minutes I could fix it up really nice. Right now it's just a cheap stop gap beater until I can afford something nicer. I'm thinking used Cayenne S, they are getting below $10K.
