It is very desirable to Europeans because it gets way better gas mileage than a 911. A lot of that bidding action is from overseas.
And with the lightweight and 7:31 final drive it's not the dog it is often painted as. Mine was every bit as quick and nimble as my '68 911T was.
They are good little cars that have a unique niche in Pcar ownership. There are times I wish I hadn't sold mine.
