They have learned to trust me if I tell them to head this way and start off on a tangent. By the same token, I trust them when they get "birdy" ...it's almost subliminal...a quickening tail, a rapid head snap as they catch scent...
there is so much pleasure in just watching them do what they've been bred for thru generations. Damn...now I need to go to one of the canned pheasant clubs!
