yep; on the thin metal.
Mine, I had stiffened the suspension, added sways . . . and the OE metal tore around the pick-up points for both the A-arms and shock towers.
I had a hi-comp motor . . . which tore the metal at two motor-mount pick-ups. (learned how to weld thin stuff)
Shift-forks - I broke (and fixed) a few of those. (cheap stamped sheet steel)
Long story short - it's no Porsche. (fun, good looking . . . just don't drive it hard. It's not 911 tough. Not even close.)
