Curt, that seems to be the deal. And while I don't know the Evo history very well, I looked at the Wiki page and some of those earlier ones that were only sold in Japan are super cool. I actually got a good collection of Japanese Evo magazines and some rally DVDs with the car that I will have to check out.
I've also been told the same thing in regards to stock/unmolested and low miles. Here is my exact car, (but brand new), on eBay. Not sure if he'll get this price but maybe?
