I've never gotten into a progressive press; I've been using the same old RCBS single stage press that I bought as a teenager in one of their starter kits for darn near 40 years. It's never been about production volume for me. That, and my bullet lubes of choice are so soft (and some are quite sticky as well) that they would come off the bullets and gum up the whole works. Even in my match shooting days, with the demand for ammunition that required, saw me loading on the single stage. I just find it very relaxing - kind of an escape if you will. As such, I'm never in a hurry to see how much I can crank out.
