If you sure nobody else can find the car and steal it out from under you it is fine to post pictures. Pictures will let us guide you.

I agree with your logic. If you work on the car slowly it could become a deep and passionate love affair. They are getting rare and expensive. One way to avoid getting priced out of the market is to buy a project you can restore over time. And who knows. You may get lucky and get a driving restoration like my '67. My car needs all kinds of stuff eventually. In the short term I drive it a couple times a month to keep the cobwebs out and the love affair alive.
