Yes, it appears to be in quite excellent preserved condition due to being covered as well as parked under a car port, so no UVs or moisture have gotten to it. That would be tragic in this case, I can't tell you how many other beautiful old cars I've seen that were ruined while parked.
My photography is not the greatest but the interior shots really tell the story. It basically looks like a new car inside with no fading or weathering at all. Pretty amazing.
The mechanical aspect would require some attention but again, the storage conditions really favor it. There isn't even any corrosion present on the battery terminals, which of course should not have been left connected in the car.
It's like something a VW Scirocco freak might see in a dream, then the alarm clock goes off right when you're about to turn the key and go for a drive.
