On the left side we use clamps, pulling on the housing.
Why not do the opposite and push on the right?
Try a home made jack screw arrangement.
A short section of pipe.
A bolt that telescopes into the pipe.
A washer and nut.
turn the nut to raise the bolt head. I ground a nice groove into the bolt to help locate it. I also placed a wood shim between the base of the pipe and the housing. The wood shim serves a dual purpose, raise the pipe& bolt up,and protecting the housing.
