I never have, but should have once!

Last June I was involved in a serious accident in my old '84 944. This warped the entire tub (and looked like Superman came in and tore the Fuchs wheels in half) and the insurance company considered it a total loss as it would have cost over $3000 over its book value to repair. But there was a wealth of great parts perfectly intact. In retrospect, I should have kept the wreck, but I couldn't stand the thought of tearing down "my baby" or turning the back yard into Billy Bob's used parts flea market for storage!
