Basically, their underwriting requirements demand that a married couple in the most aggressively covered mass transit location in North America own three cars if they want to insure the third, vintage, one. Considering that both of us commute by subway and can prove it with our Metrocard purchases, this was a depressing snag, especially since - obviously - no one there can do anything about it.
The QUESTION is, is there another vintage car insurance that doesn't have this ridiculous requirement? I don't want to have to call every single one individually and hope someone has a good experience.

that sucks but I can somewhat see their point
I own 4 vehicles so I don't have your problem but when I signed on with hagerty they only asked for prof of one other car, however my wife's name is not on my 911
