To the OP, have you seen/driven the car? Is this a color you like? Condition? Do you get good vibes from seller? etc etc... If you're not a flipper and looking to keep the car long term, in the big scheme of life, what's the big deal with 3k? When you sell the car say in 10-15 years (my definition of long term, ymmv), and you've enjoyed the heck out of it, 3k becomes really insignificant in the "big picture". What if you found a similar car for 22k in Florida? Are you willing to travel or go through the hassle of buying long-distance (with all the unknowns and risks involved)? Is the extra headache worth 3k? I think with these old 911s, it's kind of ludicrous to try to put a "surgical" dollar value on them. There are SO MANY factors involved. It's not as easy as putting an ACV value on a 2008 Camry...
