And Lagrassa, I am not actually a member of Rgruppe, (don't own an early car right now), so can't speak for them, but it is a club for hotrod early 911s, I think that it was formed originally as partly a response to a certain snob element in the PCA against modified 911s, but it has grown to where their gatherings are a
little bit better than a PCA social.
Also, contrary to what some think, there is no negative feelings towards later 911s or their owners, maybe some good-natured ribbing, and some Rgruppers have newer metal as well:
