I had been working on this bass for my dad prior to his death. He sold his Jazz Bass to help me out when I was in a bad place. I told him I'd build him one. Just finished it up a few weeks ago.
Alder body with a padouk/wenge fretboard.
I even mixed some of his ashes in with the lacquer and a custom neckplate. I'd like to think I've got some of his soul in there. It plays awesome.
