Any weight, even an infant, will set it to trigger. There was a child seat airbag defeat system, but it required a seat bar and a strap that held the infant seat to defeat it, and required coding with a PST II/PIWIS to make it all work. This would not work because for you because it requires an extra seat belt strap for the infant seat that hooks into the air bag system.
And before you ask, no shop will help you bypass the airbag system because of the liability issues with defeating a federally mandated safety system..........
