Kiev, the wealthiest city in the Ukraine can't even afford tow trucks. They have a primitive infrastructure. They would last 15 minutes against Putin.

What worries me is that Putin is not afraid of isolationism. We know of a few other, radical countries like that. We'd like to think that in this media/twitter age that smartphones will keep things honest, but I doubt Putin really cares about that. When has he ever?

Perhaps this is the perfect house of cards for him to roll all the way to the Carpathians. Everyone is broke.
