I am jumping over from the 911 aircooled threads to see if the Boxster guru's can give me some things to look at in purchasing a used Boxster for the wife.

I am looking at a 2007 Boxster S with about 50,000 miles. It is not local and it is at BMW dealer (which I suspect might make asking for a PPI a challenge).

Beside the tires, convertible, what do you recommend I question or ask about since I cannot personally inspect the vehicle. The car has had 3 owners so records are not available and he bought it at the auction.

Also, I think you can run the Porsche VIN to get some information on the options the car had and is it possible to get any repair and maintenance information?
