Having done a 3,200 mile round trip in a 86 Carrera a few months back, two essentials are a cup holder and a radar detector! BTW, the seat track mounted cup holder that our host sells is good. It's kind of in the way for ingress and egress, but it's just in the right spot for holding that large coffee for easy access to the driver (the passenger can hold on to their own damn drink, right?)
