Not sure Sorg gives a damn, but I am glad to get the shop grim off the new paint.
I need to get the car into some sun to allow the soft window to settle. You may not see the imperfections, but they are obvious to me
To me, the beauty of Gemini Blue it the paint's ability to change color depending on the available light, and the reflection of the sky (sounds a little esoteric for someone like me ...I know) which must be a function of the metal flakes in the paint itself.
I'm happy with how my BMW E30 sport seats turned out.
And the really good news is that I still have plenty of headroom as these seats are a "tidge" higher than the factory seats. I was worried about targa top clearance, but no issues there...and I am 5' 10". A set of re-worked E30 seats are very comfortable. I have forced (not really) a number of people to plant their butts and check out the comfort of these seats. Favorable responses from everybody. Trick would be for someone to figure out how to narrow the bases to sit lower to accommodate taller drivers. In the BMWs, these were bolted directly to the floor.
