Well said. I didn't cutup a real RSR. This was Brumos's version of a club racer/hot rod. The metal and finishing work was poor (but likely okay in 1974). I'd like to imagine this is how they would have done it in 2014.

I'm keeping the heart of their original vision in this car - the 3.0 power plant. I'm keeping the shell close to what they intended, but with some tweaks.
