Back in the 60's it was cool to cause the car to run rich and then spark the fuel in the exhaust to create a flame out the back.
For me, the 70's brought in air shocks to jack up the back, CB radios, and Craig stereo amps so that everyone could "enjoy" BTO or Zeppelin with me...
There will always be some fad or new hot ticket item.
