Removing crank pulley bolt when motor is out of the car...

Pelicans,

Removing the crankshaft pulley isn't too bad with the flywheel lock when the motor is in the car. But when the motor is already out, there is no flywheel to lock on to. I was thinking of using my impact wrench, because that is the only way I see being able to remove that 218+ ft lb torqued (and most likely even more from years of not being removed) bolt with no flywheel to hold onto.

Anyone have any tips on how to remove this thing? I want to replace the timing belt, and what not before putting the motor into the car.

This is an '89 BTW
