Not sure it makes the car worth $2k more but I do believe it makes the top prices come more easily and not just for the concour crowd.

I've recently seen toolkits advertised for more than 'good used' transmissions. They frankly just aren't worth over $2K to me.
Not sure if anyone is really paying that much for toolkits... Jacks, on the other hand, haven't seemed to appreciated in the same way.
