Hey guys, I have been realizing that I have a lot of $$ worth of stuff in my garages (two attached garages on my house, both two car), especially the one where I have all my tools, etc. I have an ADT alarm system on my house, but no sensors in the garage currently. Wondering what the best way to set it up is?

Garage 1 - Overhead door, service door, one window that does not open (service door currently does have a wireless alarm sensor on it).
Garage 2 - Overhead door, two windows that open.

What's the best solution for adding alarm sensors? Most simple would be install one motion sensor in each garage. Most complicated would be sensors on the overhead doors and windows.

My other question is what happens when the alarm is armed and I open the garage door(s) when returning to the house? Keypad is inside the house in the laundry/mud room. Thinking time from open to disarm on this zone may be problematic.

Ideas?
