Glad your cat is no worse for wear.
One of our kitties got stuck in a neighbor's garage for 4 days. After we rescued him, he drank like mad for about 5 minutes. No retribution. He was just super happy to be home. I don't think he left the house for 2 days, which is totally against his personality.
