I'll check out "Final Cut Pro". Thanks for that tip. I'll take your word on the fact that AVID is expen$sive and difficult to use.
I want to edit music, voice-overs, add a custom logo as a watermark, and fast cut to still footage between moving shots.
For aerial footage, I bought a helicopter called a "Phantom 2 Vision" since I do not have a Go Pro 3 and don't want to spend all that money on video transmitters etc. I found a 2 axis gimbal to mount the camera to, and will be able to shoot nice 1080p footage from an aerial platform as high as 200 ft or more.
