The only comment I would make is look for a newer bike as a starter bike. I am kind of leery of using an almost 30 year old bike as a starter. I have both an 80's sport-bike and also a Ninja that is just a few years old. Night and day difference in both ride comfort and stability. I would recommend spending a little more money and getting a newer (smaller displacement) bike. The feel of a newer bike is better. The way a newer bike rides is also better. A 30 year old bike is good for a collector but not so much for a new rider in my opinion.
