Modern cockpit?
Photo of a friend of mine, taken by a great photographer that I have worked with many times (high-g productions, has a great calendar btw).

How modern do you need for a CAS weapon that fires these? You need a screen for the Maverick and a way to track laser designated targets with the Pave Penny pod. It is a weapons system we don't have a replacement for. Back in the 80s it was thought the F16 could replace it, now the F35 if it ever goes into full production. As far as I know, there isn't a way to decoy a 30mm round headed your way.
