No joy in it for me this year. I enrolled my grandson last year, went to every practice with him, played pitch and catch all the time. When the season started I began teaching him how to play - always pay attention the game even if you're in the dugout, always think about what the players on the field should be doing, keep your head in the game, always know what the next play is. Then azzhat "dad" starts coming to the games, playing hero. He pulls the kid aside and starts coaching him on hitting and catching during the game. Kid gets on the field and doesn't even know the score. Azzhat yells at the kid if he doesn't get a hit or make a catch. He never came to a practice, but always had time to get in the way at a game. The kid hasn't mentioned 2014 baseball yet, and if he doesn't I'm not going to bring it up.
