Being married to a retired dietician I know what it's like. I used to have high cholesterol and was offered pills to control it. I declined and now eat more healthy foods.Bad cholesterol level is down. We read food labels and wifey decides what is acceptable in terms of fat and sugar.
We eat low fat cheese, low or no fat yogurt and try and stick to whole grain bread. My wife does all the cooking as she does not like what I cook. I am a lucky man!
