New rear shocks. Old ones were really, really dead. PS one was providing no damping at all, as most of the fluid leaked out, and the DS one had seized.
And, well, since I was down there... I resealed the tranny and changed the fluid too. Guess what? Nothing stripped! Not the CV bolts, not the tranny plugs. Secret - you can get an impact gun on the fill plug.
So now I'm feeling virtuous...
Oil change tomorrow.
