I saw that one on an ebay browse yesterday. What a horrible car. What a horrible market we are in that anyone would even consider this hunk of schit. And with two horrible colors, IMO. I like unusual colors on 911s but that green would ruin the value of a 1974 Super Beetle.
And MM caught the "VIN plate" caption. That plate was made in someone's basement in New Jersey, not Stuttgart. This car was likely never imported properly into the U.S. or it has a theft history is my guess. Interpol should be looking at this auction. And yes, I know that all grey market cars had that cheesy "VIN plate" glued on.
I can smell that car through my monitor. If someone buys it, make it part of the deal that it's not shipped with those disgusting Lazyboys in it. Can you imagine the stink?
