One thing I really take from this listing that I think we all feel is the breakneck speed of the rise in prices for the humble SC, and especially for any car in an out of the ordinary color. When we look back to the furor that came to Dgriz when he flipped the Olive Targa. Whilst still a very expensive proposition at $25k for a Targa, if this car sells for $15k to someone who wants to bring it 'back' to originality then the $25k Dgriz got for the Olive Targa seems like almost a bargain. Clearly the used car salesman who bought it got his fingers burned when there were no takers at $35K+ however I'm thinking were it a coupe, and presented right (lower & less armor all LOL) it probably would have found a buyer in the low to mid thirties.
Personally I'm getting whiplash from the rise in asking prices. Just wonder whats going to happen when a few of the new owners who don't wrench start getting some pretty hefty repair bills.
