I listened to Ian's advice when setting up our home theater
On his recommendation I went with some small size (big sound) Focal speakers.
I went with a Denon 7.1 receiver and a Panasonic plasma smart tv.
It sounds great but I think the receiver (my choice) wasn't the best selection but does a pretty good job.
