Castroville, Artichoke Festival
Anyone been to this? If so your impressions? (Yes, I know it will be dorky/corny... artichoke ice cream, artichoke burgers, crowning of the artichoke queen... what can I say, we are easily amused.)
I have been up and down the coast a dozen times and often stop in at the "Giant artichoke" for a snack.
We would be driving up from L.A. so a lot of fun road trip type stops along the way.
