Observed this many times here, now, my turn..
Lost my dad today during a "routine" surgery. Went under general anestheia to have a bladder tumor removed, surgey compete, his heart stopped and they could not revive him. It was his time...and God's will.
Had been battling Alzheimer's Disease for the better part of 10 years. Had to put him in a nursing home in January..and he was miserable. I could tell the end was nearing, and this surgery gave him the way out. He went peacefully with no pain.
My dad taught me everything I know about family, love, life, business, and career. He was a fantastic leader and always supported me and my dreams. I owe him everything and did my best to surpass his expectations. I have no regrets as we were the best of friends.
Our favorite quote: Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston Churchill.
All the best Dad, and thanks for everything you did for me.
Regards,
