They are MG - model TD 's
I believe they are the first LHD MGs that were made.

Mechanically they are very simple and maintaining them is a fraction of P car prices.
The body work has a wooden backing & will lead to the doors sagging if rotten. But then again its relatively easy to fix & there are lots of parts suppliers like PParts.

They have a small 4 cyl motor (about 1250cc ??) so performance is limited. In good tune they will cruise happily with 2 people at 60mph, top speed about 75 - 80mph.

They are pretty cars that are remembered with affection by most ex owners.
