I've always just beat the crap outta outta the cat with a big metal thingy. And if it's just hallowed out it will be able to pass a visual inspection (that way you can take it to a shop to have it worked on if need be, just as long as they don't take the exhaust off). Anyways...sorry I jacked the thread...back to oil changing.
